DISCO (0.75)

Drift Orbit Simulation COde

Model Description

DISCO is a GPU-based guiding center code that traces particle trajectories in MHD output. Currently, output from SWMF is supported, with support for MAGE planned in the future. DISCO implements the Brizard-Chan guiding center equations, including ExB drift, grad-B drift. and curvature drift, and is safe to use with relativistic particles.
