Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-09-05T07:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-09-05T07:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
HAL: Halo CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Fairly symmetrical halo CME with brighter portions to the NW in SOHO and NE in STEREO A, first seen around 2024-09-05T07:24Z in SOHO C2. The eruption is very likely on the far-side relative to the Earth-facing solar disk as evidenced by flickering field lines seen best in SDO 193/171 and GOES 284 far off the northwest and southwest limbs seen around 2024-09-05T07:15Z.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
