Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2022-07-08T20:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2022-07-08T20:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N20E40
Active Region Number: 13053
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
HAL: Halo CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: An eruption associated with the long-duration M2.5-class solar flare which occurred near N20E40. The CME presents itself as a faint halo in SOHO/C3 imagery and possibly a halo in Stereo-A/COR2A imagery with a bulk component mostly to the east in all available coronagraph imagery. The eruption as seen in coronal imagery is relatively unimpressive with mostly bright post-eruptive arcades and an EUV wave that traverses north and west of the source region best seen in SDO AIA 211 imagery.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, earlier measurements are marked as false when new or more accurate measurements are made. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG SH false SWPC_CAT -21.0 6.0 1287.0 O 49.0 2022-07-08T23:06Z A measurement of the faintest, fastest halo feature that is seen in SOHO and Stereo-A running difference imagery which quickly exits the Stereo-A field of view. This is a possible upper bound of the CME speed as it is uncertain whether this feature is associated with the halo. Not modeled Chris Stubenrauch on 2022-07-09T13:13Z
