Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-02-28T09:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-02-28T09:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S16E30
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
DIM: Dimming
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: A relatively faint CME with the clear source a C5.1 class flare centered (~S15E31) peaking at 2024-02-28T09:09Z (there is no associated active region). The CME is also associated with a faint EUV wave in AIA 193, a type II radio burst, faint dimming and tightly woven bright but small area post-eruptive arcades. The CME overlaps with one or two more CMEs.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Analysis is based on the best fit in swpc_cat with two coronagraphs and is supported by the source location of the associated flare. The CME overlaps with one or two more CMEs and is faint, making analysis a bit more difficult. |
