Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-08-09T08:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-08-09T08:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: An extremely faint CME, barely seen in white light imagery and better seen in difference imagery. No clear source has been found on the Earth-facing disk, however an extremely faint dimming, followed by equally faint post-eruptive arcades is seen in AIA 193/211 centered roughly around (N30E35) starting with 2024-08-09T07Z. There is also a faint movement of field lines behind/on the eastern limb but the fit with two coronagraphs does not fit the close to the limb source.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
