SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-11-25T21:24:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S12W25
Active Region Number: 13901
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
DIM: Dimming
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
Note: This CME is visible to the south in SOHO LASCO C2, C3, and possibly to the SE in STEREO A COR2 imagery following a data gap. The CME is likely associated with the M1.9 flare from AR 13091 as seen from SDO/AIA 131 and associated dimming in SDO/AIA 193 starting around 20:33Z. The dimming and associated EUV wave is seen moving out in all directions, most notably seen to the north, east, and south of the source location. This CME event overlaps with CMEs visible to the southwest which began around 2024-11-25T18:00Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG LE true SWPC_CAT -2.0 -23.0 935.0 C 29.0 2024-11-26T00:31Z Parameters are based on best fit of feature in SOHO LASCO C3 imagery with guidance of directionality of features seen after a data gap in STEREO A COR2 imagery. Since the features aren't clear in STEREO A COR2 imagery it was not usable for this fit. Due to this, there is a higher degree of uncertainty with this CME analysis. 1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
