Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-11-27T19:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-11-27T19:24:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Source Location: S16E08
Active Region Number: 13906
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
HAL: Halo CME
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
Note: Southeastward partial halo CME with the likely source a filament eruption seen in GOES SUVI 304 and 284 starting around 2024-11-27T18:45Z extending southeastwards from Active Regions 13905 (S09E01) and 13906 (S16E08). The CME also has a second, following front - a loop seen in SOHO LASCO C2 at 2024-11-27T20:36Z. Only one frame for this CME is available in STEREO A COR2 because of an extensive data gap.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Approximate analysis based on the best fit with two coronagraphs, the latitude of the analysis seems to be more southern compared to the latitude of the possible source, so there was possibly some southward deflection. |
