Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-10-02T02:36Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
Activity ID: 2025-10-02T02:36:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S09W77
Active Region Number: 14226
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
Note: Faint partial halo to the W in early C2 imagery, dissipating after >10 timestamps, seen (clearly) only in a couple of early timestamps in C3. Not seen in CCOR-1 bc of bad data. Super faint front could be traced in STEREO A COR2 in a couple of early timestamps. Source: M1.2 flare from AR 14226 (S09W77) and a very minor associated filament/prominence eruption seen in GOES SUVI 304 at 2025-10-02T02:24Z on the W limb, with moving/opening field lines seen near the W limb in GOES SUVI 284 at the time.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
