Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-12-30T08:08Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2025-12-30T08:08:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S09E27
Active Region Number: 14325
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: A CME to the ESE, with the front clearest in STEREO A COR2 coronagraph and super faint in SOHO and GOES CCOR-1. No clear source has been found it could potentially be an impulsive C5.0 flare from Active Region 14325 (S09E27) peaking at 2025-12-30T06:45Z. There is one bright post-eruptive arcade after the flare as well, but no other coronal signatures.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

A very speculative analysis based on the fit of fronts in two coronagraphs (relatively clear front in STEREO A COR2 and a super faint partial halo front in SOHO LASCO C2 coronagraph). Not confirmed by a clear source, but there is an impulsive flare from Active Region 14325 at the time that fits the bill. |
