Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-01-08T17:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-01-08T17:00:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S19E03
Active Region Number: 14334
Note Keyword:
GAP: Data gap
HAL: Halo CME
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
DIM: Dimming
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Bright partial halo CME to the S and SE in SOHO LASCO and GOES CCOR-1 coronagraphs, fully covered by the daily data gap in STEREO A COR2. Source: massive, very complex Earth-directed filament eruption involving potentially two filaments S and E of AR 4334 (S19E03). The eruption starts after 2026-01-08T16Z to the SE of disk center and is associated with the long-duration C5.6 flare in this AR peaking at 2026-01-08T17:30Z. It is seen in SDO AIA 304/193 as bright, extensive post-eruptive arcades, a large-area dimming, EUV wave and erupting filaments in 304).

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
