Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-03-22T16:23Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-03-22T16:23:00-CME-001 (version 7)
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
COL: Possible collision with previous CME
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
GAP: Data gap
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
HAL: Halo CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: This somewhat asymmetric bright CME is visible to the SE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1 coronagraph and for a couple of frames before the usual overnight data gap in STEREO A COR2. Its source is a significant filament eruption with associated brightening/dimming starting around 2026-03-22T15:30Z, followed by high-rising post-eruptive arcades, as seen in GOES SUVI 304/284/195/131 centered around S20E15, south of Active Region 14398, and seen as ejecta and opening of field lines in STEREO A EUV 195/403 on/close to the SE limb. It appears that there may be some SE deflection/directionality to it,. as it erupts and progresses outward in the GOES SUVI 284 field of view. There is a bright bulk front and a wider faint shock front seen in all three coronagraphs.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
