Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-03-31T01:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
Activity ID: 2026-03-31T01:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N16E00
Active Region Number: 14403
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
CHP: CME - Coronal Hole Proximity
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
Note: This faint CME is visible to the NW in SOHO LASCO C2 following a lower C-class flare with associated filament eruption and moving/opening field lines starting around 2026-03-31T01:00Z as seen in GOES SUVI 304 and 284. This CME is not visible in GOES CCOR-1 due to an Earth-shine event, in STEREO A COR2 imagery due to a data gap from 2026-03-30T18:23Z to 2026-03-31T03:23Z, and in SOHO LASCO C3 due to faintness of event. There is likely deflection of this event due to a coronal hole located due south of the erupting region.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
