Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-04-24T08:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-04-24T08:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N16W70
Active Region Number: 14419
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
HAL: Halo CME
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
DIM: Dimming
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Bright wide CME with a brighter bulk and a fainter, more halo-like shock seen to the NW in SOHO LASCO and STEREO A CCOR-1 and to the N (slightly to the NNW) in STEREO A COR2. Its source is the X2.5 flare from AR 4419 and the associated eruption seen in SDO AIA/GOES SUVI 304/284 as complex, wide ejecta and as dimming seen in SDO AIA 193 and STEREO A EUV 195. There is also an EUV wave seen in SDO AIA 193 and STEREO A EUV 195.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Analysis of the faint partial halo shock front with LASCO and GOES CCOR-1, while the shock in STEREO A COR2 does not produce any fit with the other two instruments and seems to be directed westwardly, as seen from STEREO A. |
