Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-06-02T12:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-06-02T12:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S10E75
Note Keyword:
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: Bright loop CME first seen to the East by SOHO LASCO C2 beginning at 2026-06-02T12:12Z, as well as by SOHO LASCO C3, STEREO A COR2 and GOES CCOR-1 in later frames. This CME has a faint, diffuse, preceding feature, but not a shock, seen ahead of the main bulk, likely due to the nature of the source eruption. The source of this event is a very gradual filament eruption seen centered at approx. S10E75 as seen in GOES SUVI, STEREO A EUVI and SDO AIA 304. This filament becomes unstable beginning at approx. 2026-06-02T10:30Z and gradually rises off the limb, but does not begin to disconnect from the disk until approx. 2026-06-02T12:00Z. This earlier rise likely accounts for the diffuse feature seen in coronagraphs before the main bulk of the filament ejecta. Field line opening, dimming and post eruptive arcades are also visible in association with this eruption in SDO AIA 171, 193, 211 and GOES SUVI 284.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
