Note: CME first seen to the E in SOHO LASCO C2, C3, GOES CCOR-1, and STEREO A COR2 imagery. There are two possible sources. The first possible source is a slow, gradual field line loop rising/opening seen in GOES SUVI 284 beginning at approx. 2026-09-03T14:00Z. The second potential source is a C6.9 flare from AR 14523 (N11E41) peaking at 2026-09-03T14:46Z as seen in SDO AIA 131. Based on triangulation of features, it is more likely the opening field lines seen in GOES SUVI 284.
