Note:

Measurement of the shock front of the CME using early frames of SOHO C2/C3 during a COR2A data gap wide enough such that all portions of the shock front's leading edge are covered in later C3 frames. The CME moves so quickly that it is only visible in SOHO C2 in just one frame.
