Use as primary measurement: true
Measurement Technique: SWPC_CAT
Detecting Instruments:
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Image Type: running difference
Speed (km/s): 2006.0
Speed measured at height (Rs): 20.0
Type: R
Direction (LON/LAT in HEEQ): -36.0/ -14.0
Half Angular Width (degree): 50.0
Minor Half-width (degree): None Entered
Tilt (degree): None Entered
Time@21.5: 2024-10-24T05:37Z
Info/Session URL: None Entered
Note:
SHOCK MEASUREMENT triangulated between SOHO LASCO C3 and STEREO COR2A, following the outermost leading edge of the wider, fainter shock traveling ahead of the bulk. This notably does not capture the entire shock-like feature observed in both SOHO and STEREO coronagraphs in the SWPC_CAT measurement tool. This fit follows the leading edge of the shock best, cutting short from the widest portions of the partial halo.
Measurement Feature Code(s):
